Introducing....Vegas

Mark and I have been at my mom's house for a little over 2 months now and I noticed after a few weeks a black cat out by the pool. I first thought it was her cat Midnight by when I looked closer I noticed a spot of white on his chest and knew it was not Midnight.

I noticed this kitty for a few more days and noticed that he was really looking pretty bad. He was really skinny, very scared of everything and everyone and had a wound on his back hind quarter.

After several weeks of feeding him and putting antibiotics in his food he is looking much better.

I just started working with him to try to get him to trust me just a bit and I'm happy to say that he will come over to me and eat while I am sitting with him.

I have named him Vegas. So without further blabbing here he is. Sorry they are not that great as I took the photo throught the screen door.

I am going to keep working with him to trust me a little bit better. Then I can get him the proper care that he needs.

I couldn't get the picture but he sounds adorable! Groucho sends you purrs and kitty kisses for helping Vegas and taking care of him. Be patient with him and before you know it, he'll be a wonderful companion. Please let us know how things work out with him?

What a lovely cat Vegas is! Keeping my fingers crossed that you manage to get him soon. By the sound of it, you have already made huge strides with him.
