Tennis balls for cheap?
Does anyone know where you can purchase a large quanity of tennis balls for cheap? I've seen them on E-bay or like $13.00 for 100 balls.
Kiara is running low on tennis balls and I prefer to get her actual tennis balls instead of the ones they make for dogs. The ones they make for dogs are way too cheap.

I'm not to much help, but I was just curious...Is there a difference between dog tennis balls and ones for tennis? Are the dog ones easier on the teeth or something?
-
I think they're probably easier on the teeth but they're also a lot easier for her to tear up. She still "pops" the normal tennis balls, but they last a lot longer. The ones made for dogs are split in half within the first few minutes she has them.

I have to keep Finn's tennis balls only for fetching, or he'll destroy even regular ones in about two minutes. :(
-
Is there any place with tennis courts near you? You could probably get the used ones really cheap - or even free if you volunteer to pick them up! Talk also to your high school tennis coach ...

I was going to make the same suggestion as Karen. A few years back, ralph contacted one of the local tennis clubs and asked if he couls get some of their "used" balls. We got a garbage bag full!!

Check at sports & department (walmart, kmart etc...) stores. This is the time of year that they are getting rid of all of the summer items & you'll probably find them discounted.
-
check your local dollar store or supermarket, they usually have a pack of 3 tennis balls for 1$ or around there...also try Canadian Tire

LOL, she can't really go to Canadian Tire! ;) Hence the Canadian part. ;) What about Costco?
I think the "used" tennis ball idea is best! :) GOOD LUCK!
