Some pictures of Apricot
I've never posted many pics of my birds, but here's my favorite little budgie, Apricot:

Don't you love his coloring? I don't quite remember as much about budgie mutations as I used to, but I'm pretty sure Apricot is a Grey-Green Dominant Pied.

Edit to add: Apricot is turning 1 year old on August 13. Here's a little picture of him as a young 3 month old chick:
(Check out his pinkish cere and black eye)

Awww he's gorgeous! He was such an ADORABLE chick. I just cannot resist budgie chicks at all, they always make my heart flip flop. My first budgie, Peepers, got the purple/blue cere as an adult but his eyes always stayed solid black, always made him kind of look like a permanent chick. It ended up making his name really fit him perfectly too, for we named him Peepers for his big dark eyes, not for peeping noises. If you've ever heard the song, "Jeepers, Creepers, Where'd Ya Get those Peepers?" That's what he was named after, and we used to sing it to him :D. Boy was he an amazing talker too... Someday gonna get me another budgie ;).
