Well the kitties and I are moving up to Raleigh, NC next Saturday (July 30th). We're about half way done on the packing :eek: but am looking forward to living in a new city. Friday was my last day of work and I've become extremely depressed. I really enjoyed where I worked and regret immensely I did not stay there for my PhD. I hope that I like it even half as much up there as I did down here. I'm just sad :(

Good luck with the move, and I have heard only nice things about Raleigh. I hope you and the kitties will all make it through the move with a minimum of trauma. What's your PhD focus going to be?
My PhD will be in Biomedical sciences. I do research involving tick borne diseases in animals, mainly prevalence surveys.

Congrats on the move. I live in Fayetteville, an hour away. My husband works in Raliegh, so maybe I get to meet the kittys one day:D YAY!
