It was burned and looks to have been put out with water. It was post marked June 27, 2005. It's from our insurance company. Kevin mentioned some postal accident, somewhere. He saw it on the news. The news was telling people where to pick up soc. security checks, etc. We thought maybe this letter was one that was salvaged. Kevin thought it was too cool, and ran off to show his pals at the shop. Just like a little kid. Anyway, it's not a scary thing, we just got a kick out of it. You know the saying......through rain, sleet and snow....the mail must go on. Or something to that effect. I'll let you know if it turns out to be something else, I doubt it was anything exciting.

My brother-in-law is a 18 year postal worker. This should be really fun......:D

That is wild. It looks like it's really old. Strange.

If it is an insurance payment, and it is overdue, send your check to them with the original envelope that it came in with an explaination that you just received it like this.:D ;) :cool: That happened to me once. I wanted to make sure they didn't cancel my insurance.:) :D
