Poor Lucas.

On Sunday I started finding liquid diarrhea (on my pink carpet!!! and kitchen floor). Well, who??? Your guess, at that point would have been as good as mine.

Monday, more diarrhea, and a hunch. Lucas is usually the culprit who gets an upset tummy, AND he is the one who poops on the floor when He doesn't feel well.

So with nothing more than a hunch to go on, I segrigated Lucas. By Tuesday, proof.

Liquid stool sample to the vet.............negative! (that is good, because with the fosters having had coccidia, I was worried)

So he has 2 medicines to take for 5 days. But today (after only his first dose) his diarrhea was not only liquid, but bloody. Really bloody! But the vet feels it is from irritation of the bowels and to monitor him for the 5 days. If not back to normal, more tests (IBS possibly).

Think of my sweet boy. He isn't feeling up to par. :(

Poor Lucus. Be strong buddy you will be feeling better soon. You be a good boy for meowmie and take all your meds.

Poor Lucas.:( I hope he's feels better soon and that the meds will help him. For some reason it seems like orange cats are more prone to have sensitive tummies.
