I got my nails done!
We are going to a wedding in san francisco tonight so we decided to get pedicures and manicures...at the last minute I decided to get "fake" nails...haven't done this since I was 19.
Here is a pic....still have ugly old lady hand but at least they are a bit feminine...

I am not sure how long I can do day to day things with these though...we'll see how long I last.

Very nice! The trick to keeping them like that is only to use your hands for essential things - like posting on PT!

They are pretty.
I don't remember the last time I had my nails done. :(
Too lazy to go and don't want to spend the $$$.
I am in dire need of a pedicure though.

well I am 120 dollars poorer...but it was a splurge...my daughters are got good prices on their dresses so they got pedicures and regular manicures since the younger generation doesn't wear nylons the pedicure was more important for them.
I try to get a pedicure once toward the beginning of summer and my feet seem to do better all year.

VERY nice!! :)
Enjoy the wedding!

love the color! Have fun at the wedding :)

They look great!
My sister is going to school for that stuff (manicures and pedicures), so I can get them free when ever I want. She gave me silk nails once recently, but I hated them. I couldn't get used to them, and typing was the hardest. She gives me a pedicure every couple weeks.

ah!! They look so pretty:) That is something I have never yet done - manicure or pedicure. Do you like how the nails feel?? I wonder how folks manage the - uhm - necessary day to do things?:p I think your hands look very nice, and yes, feminine. Will you show us your toes, too? :D

I'm thinking about getting frenchtip fake nails.. but I dunno.. I'm not good with keeping my nails nice looking!

I get mine done every couple of weeks. It's a pain to have to do, but I bite mine down to nubs if I don't. :p
It does take a little while to get used to them. :)

Well the nails feel fine...although I have been off playing at the wedding not doing regular housework type things...in the hotel room the window was really hard to close and my hand slipped and one of the nails broke...it hit very hard and another one may have damage but its not noticable
overall they feel pretty good....the typing is a little different though.

It does take a little while to get used to them. I've had mine off for a month or so now, trying to let my real nails recover from acrylics. I still get my pedicures....I hate having ugly feet. I used to bite my nails down to nubs too Dawn, but since I took the fake ones off this time I have not bit them down yet. I'm taking extra good care of them this time. :)
