Bengay and dogs?

Has anyone ever heard of bengay? It's like....something you put on sore muscles and it makes it better. Anyway, Josie's paw is getting worse. The vet said it looks like she cut it, but she's been licking and licking and now the pad is peeling away and it's almost the whole side of her pad now getting to the top. I've been putting the meds on, but maybe not enough. She told me to put something smelly on but I don't remmeber the name. I know that Josie HATES the smell of bengay and wont go near it....but is it safe?? Anyone know?

I wouldn't. My gut feeling says no but I'm not real sure.

I wouldn't try it and it sounds like she needs a trip back to the vet. I know that's not good to hear but if it's getting worse, I wouldn't take any chances, you know? Give her a kiss on that paw from me.
