Happy Birthday Earle

Earle is 6 today! How time flies. The first time I saw Earle he was only a few hours old. I wasn't getting a puppy at the time, just went by to visit Muskwa's kids. A few weeks later, Earle picked me when he crawled out of a pile of puppies to nurse on my fingers.

Earle's a great dog, everything a husky should be--funny, silly, outgoing, friendly, gentle and kind. He adores kids and even goes with my husband to do presentations at elementary schools. He has assisted me with skijoring demos and is a pretty good sled dog. He's the first dog every newcomer here meets. Earle has never met a dog didn't like.

Happy birthday to one of my most favorite dogs! I'm glad to see you're having a relaxing day. If I were there, I'd give you a great big hug. I'm sure you wish Hoodoo were there to celebrate with you.
