Poor Bunny :-(
You'll all probably remember me complaining about the wild bunnies eating my roses and hostas. Well, we finally gave up on the roses and bought new ones, and the hostas are coming back slow but sure.
I didn't hate the bunnies, I just wanted them to stop eating my roses, so I was devastated Monday night when I went out to water in the back and I found a dead bunny. :( He was stiff so it had been awhile, but he wasn't decomposed at all so it hadn't been that long. He also was not mutilated at all as if a cat or coyote had gotten to him, but he was out in the open which I thought was odd. He looked adult size, not a tiny baby, and if he wasn't feeling well you would think he would have stayed hidden. So I will never know why he died, but I sure hope he didn't suffer. :(
I called Terry down and he dug a hole and we buried him under some bushes in the back. RIP little bunny. :(

Bunnies can literally die of fright, so you never know, maybe he was an old bunny and just up-and-died. In any case, rest in peace little bunny. There are no predators in the fields of heaven!
