strolling through the local park, my favourite haunt as a kid and still a refuge, with Tobey charging along in front of me I realised it was my childhood dream come true. Not only was I free to go where I wanted (hubby working away, daughter 15 so out with friends) I also had my very own dog at long last!!!! A smiley moment that I wanted to share with others who would understand.....
Yes, I've had that feeling too. When we talked about getting a dog and what kind, I realized that I have wanted a husky ever since I was a kid...and now I could get one! (And then another....and another!) So now the kids are gone and I have three lovely furkids to dote on...
I had that feeling just the other day. It was more a family moment, but the same kind of feeling.:)
