Sometimes they're darker and almost look brown, but for the most part, they are a golden color.

my golden (green) eyed Vixen
her eyes have both gold and green outside it golden and near the pupil is rimmed with green sometimes it's soo hard to tell which is the dominant color.

They do look very similar. Maybe they are related somehow and Shadow was snuck into her litter without anyone realizing ;) She was the only blackie out of six babies--four grey kitties inc. Whisper and one "Monkey Face" as we called him because he really looked like a monkey.
