First Obedience Trial
Today we had our first ever obedience trial. We were in "Novice Dog" and we were second on the list. We didn't pass, but we had a really hard judge that made both the "heel" exercises (on lead and off lead) very long. I was happy with the way Foxy listened and wasn’t disappointed that we didn’t get the pass.
In the afternoon we were second on the list again, but under a different judge. The heel exercise was shorter and we got 28 out of 30 in on and 35 out of 40 in the off lead. He got 20 out of 20 in the stand for exam and stand stay, 25 out of 30 in the recall and 30 out of 30 in the 1 min sit stay and 3min drop stay, so we got our first pass.

I can't believe he did soo well for the stand-stay! Gonzo hates that! I've seen a lot of dogs get lazy and lay down during stand-stay :p
