This is one darn sweet kitten! Pretty too ;) I love how she's twisting her half leg over top of the whole leg - you'd never know this girl was special needs!

Here you can see what the bottom of her stump looks like. This is typical for her - its nice and clean without any sores. Seldom does she have a scab (unlike her sisters) but she does scab over when she walks on it. Lately, she's been being really good and not walking on it.

Gary, I know I want to keep her, but last night I ran into one of the track coaches at school. I know he has two daughters and that Flutter would be well loved and taken care of there. I even asked him if he'd be interested in adopting her. He said he'll think about it, which means "no"; but I did realize that I'd be able to let her go if I knew the right family was taking her.

I will know it when the time comes. She won't be available for adoption for weeks anyway. Hubby sees me falling more for her everyday, and he had a look of surprise on his face when I mentioned her to the track coach. I think he's beginning to see she's a keeper.

No I don't need a Flutter fix....I NEED FLUTTER, PERIOD!!!

She is a DOLL! I admire you for being able to give her up if the right family comes along. If you can let her go by then!;) :D It sounds like it might be hubby that can't let her go.:D

Flutter is too cute for words. Kim, I know you want to do what is best for Flutter and I am sure you will. But Maybe CCL is right. You may have a pawpie who is not willing to let her go when the time comes....if and that's a big IF it ever does.

Flutter has captured our hearts and most certainly yours! There's something about an innocent creature (esp. one with an infirmity) that tugs at you, and her will to survive and thrive and overcome her disability says so much for her spirit. She probably doesn't even realize that she is different from other cats.

I'd have a very hard time letting her go, even to the most loving household.
