We got a racoon!
My friend and her dad were driving down the road when they saw this tiny racoon trying to get across the street, this little guy can hardly walk yet! Anyways I'm calling him Rascal but he's going to go to a wildlife place tomorrow... but for now enjoy some pics of him!:)
(I already fed him and made him go to the bathroom)
edit: I forgot to add, this little guy needs prayers as well! Make sure he lives through the night and can be release back in the wild!

Awww, he's adorable! The title of this thread frightened me at first, (as if you were going to keep it), but I'm glad you're giving him to a wildlife reserve, and I'm sure he'll like it there! :)
-
My only experiences with racoons are them stealing our food camping..:) he is very tiny I am glad you saved him.

He's so cute! I'd really be tempted to keep him. We used to feed the wild raccoons that came from our woods and I was so tempted to try and trap a baby. But, I read up on them and decided that wouldn 't be a good idea. Besides them being wild, they like to climb on everything.

He is precious! THANK YOU for saving him and especially for turning him over to the Wildlife Reserve where he can be properly cared for and released!;) GOOD JOB!!!

Aww what a cutie! I am glad you could save it! I hope it can be returned to the wild!

My neighbor rescued a baby raccoon once - it was the cutest thing I've ever seen. It was so friendly and tame, it would hold your finger like a baby. It's little cooing was adorable too.

My mother had a pet racoon when growing up and his name was Rascal too!!
I don't know how she aquired it, but I remember her telling me all about his wild antics.

Well he went to the Wildlife Vet and will be raised.
-
Glad he made it thru the night! Thanks for saving the cute little bugger.

Hes really cute but are you sure the mom wasnt around?

No, it's pretty much a given that if you see a baby racoon in the road the mother is most likely dead.
