belled collars
hello, my name is diego. my mommy did some research on cats who wear belled collars and studies show that cats that wear collars with bells go crazy. this is because cats rely heavily on their scense of hearing to stay out of danger and to get around. besides, if you wore a bell around your neck long enough you would go crazy too.

Hmmm... what if you were crazy before you got a bell??? Would you then go sane?

My Mishi doesn't wear a collar - belled or otherwise and he IS crazy. I often wonder what his story is  :p :D

All three of my gang wear collars and bells they tant crazy :) :)

I'd rather like to see those studies. Got links?
My belled cats have no problems at all.

Hmmm... sounds suspicious to me. Allen wears a collar off and on, and it happens to have a bell. He's not crazy. My crazy cat is the one who refuses to wear a collar!

I don't know about that my RB Mytsi wore a collar with a bell for about 10 years and she was far from crazy. She was one of the smartest cats I had ever known. And my little Vixen doesn't wear one at all and never has and she is completely out of her little mind.

my cat hates belled collars. it must be true she went crazy tring to get the bell off. :)

I have a bell on Dinah Lee's collar to warn the other cats when she is in the neighborhood. She is a big pouncer from ambush and drives the other cats up the wall. It's only fair to them to warn them. She's nuts, all right, but she was nuts BEFORE the bell, so there! LOL

My grandmother told us of the her family's cat, who had a bell on its collar so it couldn't sneak up on birds. But the cat silenced the bell, simply by tucking its chin against it. :D
Don Juan and Zerlina don't have bells on their collars, because I'd go crazy. But their little ID tags and Don Juan's St. Francis medal jingle a bit.
