Pssst.....is anybody here? I've only got today and tomorrow before I'm off for a week (yippeeee!!!) so I wanted to make sure and not miss Thursdays, but the place looks pretty empty so far....

Oh well....I've discovered Mudslides so I'll make up a pitcher of those for whoever wants one. They're basically Kahlua mixed in the blender with ice. They're really a mix from TGI Fridays that says it's a coffee and cocoa flavors mixed with rum. You put it in the blender with ice and get a really yummy drink. Mix it with ice cream instead of ice and get the most delicious chocolate shake you've ever had!

Yes, Mario, a cherry would be perfect on the top of a mudslide! :D

I'm so glad someone's here. I'm having one of those days and I'd love to have a mudslide. Thanks so much for making them.

Allergies runing rampent and giving me a sore throat so I'll just grab a cherry limeade and go snooze in the corner.

Those mudslides sound delicious, right now according to the scale I'd better stick to just the cyber kind :eek:

Sorry to hear about the allergies mo-mo. My husband suffers greatly this time of year. We almost stock enough Drixoral at home to open our own meth-lab. (we actually have to show ID to buy over-the-counter allergy medications because of the meth problem here).

Connie, I''m with you on the allergies. I get hay fever pretty occasionally (which is pretty bad when you consider that I cut grass on a golf course for a living!) Connie, I'll bring over a mudslide and join you in the corner.

catland, same here. I used to use Actifed. It's kept under lock and key too. I stopped using it because it interfered with my arthritis medicine. I just sniffle and sneeze now.

Mudslides....those things can be very dangerous. I was a Bridesmaid in a friends wedding years ago and had 3 of them! The place where the reception was held had a 2 mudslides per person limit. I just got someone to buy me my THIRD. Needless to say, I don't remember the reception at ALL! I look at pictures of me at the reception and I don't even remember having the pictures taken. Rumor has it I had a good time.

I haven't had a mudslide since.

Glad everyone is enjoying the Mudslides and yes, these are cyber Mudslides so no calories, no sugar (so they ok for your diabetes David) and you only "feel" them if you want to elizabethann, so you can still have the cyber ones and still remember stuff. ;) Last time that happened to me Jack Daniels was involved and I know how you feel because I don't drink Jack Daniels anymore. :o :)

Haven't opened the Mario threads but when I first met him I found out he's a widower. He was once married to a wife that worked in a circus and wore a diaper (sorry Mario, I've forgotten her name).
