Dirty Betta boy..
Yesterday - I got my new Betta - brand new tank, rocks, plants, ect. Crystal clear water and everything.
Malachai got his cleaned out completed, with new rocks as well.
Today Malachai's is still very clear.
The new Betta's is rather foggy.
Are some Betta's just dirtier than others, if not, what's going on?
Could it be because the new Betta has silk plants rather than plastic?

It's pretty common for a new tank/bowl to be cloudy for a day or so after it's first set up, from new gravel (dust) and so on. It should clear up most likely in a couple days. That has been my experience at least.

Could be that it's a new tank, they do take a few days and weekly water changes to clear up fully.
But yes, some Bettas are dirtier than others... Lets hope that's not the case here! :p

I was thinking it could be from gravel/newsness, but I scrubbed everything completely, strained the gravel numerous times (i'm paranoid).. Malachai has gravel from the same bag as the new guy. I do hope it clears because I hate dirty fish tanks. :p
