Ozzy's first swim

I took Ozzy and some of his buddies for a walk this afternoon. Ozzy has never been to the lake when it wasn't frozen solid before!

Finally at the water, Ozzy is not so sure this is a good idea. He just stuck his head in at first and snapped at the waves.

Daisy was thrilled to see water again and completely ignored the other dogs.

He got in eventually, but he didn't actually swim. His paws stayed firmly on the lake bottom!

Ozzy shaking off the water! He perked right up after his swim. He ran and played like a little nut on the way home! Cold water is fun for huskies who haven't shed their winter coats yet!

It looks like Ozzy really ended up enjoying himself. He is a gorgeous boy just like all his other buddies. How cold was the water? Thanks for sharing more great pics!!:)
