I've been trying to get decent pics of my betta & his aquarium but either the flash shows up on the reflection of the glass, or they are blurry, or if I turn the flash off its too dark to see.
Any tips or pointers?

It depends on the amount of light and the camera I think. My camera is awful at taking pics of fish but my friend's camera works really well.
Does your camera have "Marco Mode?" It would be a picture of a little flower...?
I use that to take all my betta pictures, it's made for taking upclose photos.
Yeah I tried that mode, I also tried the mode for fast moving objects & the mode for night time.Quote:

The pics themselves seem to turn out ok, for the most part anyways, its the fish that I can't get a good pic of. Some of the pics I can see every deatail in every rock, but can't make out the fish. lol
I guess I just have to keep playing around with it.
Maybe put the tank osmewhere where it is really well lit. Or shine lights on them. Turn the flash off and do it that way...?? I've never really tried to take pics of fish so I don't know
