This is a picture of Freckles a year ago when I gave her this scratching board for Christmas. It doesn't look the same now, completely shredded.

Now, how about some other calico cats?

Holly has orange, white, and black/gray markings. That is the color pattern we refer to as calico. I think the presence of the three colors qualifies as calico.

Holly has such a pretty calico face. A closeup of one of the pictures would make a great avatar.

Ok...no laughing...and you'll have to forgive the quality of the pic...my scanner isn't hooked up, so it's a pic of a pic (took it w/ my digital camera)! lol

This is when we first moved to Hobbs & this was our first house there! (Yeah...mom & dad had some MAJOR work to do to the outside...) Anywho, the calico was named Patches. She was the neighbor's cat.
