Home.....
We arrived home from our Tuscan trip with Barbara and Siegmar last night. Having left our villa at 9:00 am on Saturday we were just under 48 hours getting home...(using air miles sometimes requires patience....)
So now I need to unpack, do tons of laundry, pick up my car which has been (hopefully) having its life extended a couple more years while I was gone and figure out what is going on with the outside construction project. There were two police cars out there this morning and I think I don't want to know why....
I also need to load the software and smart card reader for the wonderful new camera my equally wonder husband gave me as a gift so I can share some photos....
It was fabulous...wonderful....fantastic!!!!
(and it rained here in SoCal while we were gone....  )

Glad to hear you made it home safe! Can't wait to see the pictures :D

Glad to see you back, Sara! And glad to hear you had a wonderful time in Tuscany. I can't wait to see the pictures!! :D
Uhh, the police! I hope nothing serious has happened. Hopefully the outside project has progressed some, even though it rained.

Welcome home!
I'll check for pictures!

Welcome home.:D Sounds like you have plenty to talk about
once you get all settled back in at home. Hope all is well there.:)
-
Welcome Home!
Did the E's meet you at the door wanting to know what you brought them?
Hope the police weren't there for anything serious.
:D

Weclome home!!
Hope all is well at home, can't be having any distractions from getting the pictures posted, you know. ;) :D

So glad you made it back safely. I look forward to pictures and stories. :)

Can't wait to see the pics. My husband is from Italy, Venezia (Venice) actually and we have intentions of moving back to Italy by the end of the year. He doesn't want to return to Venezia as work is scarce there but Tuscana (Tuscany) is suppose to be thriving. So, it seems that is very likely where we will be going. I have never been anywhere south of Venezia. What are the local people like? Friendly? That is my biggest concern...that the people will be not nice or even nasty. I hope not. I am dying to see your pics.

The people were wonderful. We stopped to take photos of some topiaries and the man who lived there (and who made the topiaries) invited us into his courtyard and showed us his sculptures. Just one example of how nice people were.
Here's some photos....
Our last dinner at the villa....

Uhmm, it looks delicious, even healthy - and what a scenery! You must have had a great time there! Barbara sure knows to pick a place (we have similar taste. ;) )
The closest I've been to Italy is Walais.
Great pics! Ohh, just seeing you there makes me envious!!

Oh what a tease that was. More pictures. :D . Only kidding I am glad you are back safely and I will patiently wait for stories and pictures of somewhere I can only dream about.
