Just need some positive vibes from ya all...

I am a little concerned about my mother's health again, she is off to a specialist this afternoon, she is getting the final diagnosis on whether she has Menieres Disease, we are both certain that is in fact what she has, as is her G.P, that in itself is no fun to live with, but she also has a bad sore in her mouth and a lump on her tongue, this is rather a worry, we are hoping the sore is due to bad fitting teeth and that is all.

So please if you can wish her all the best and hope for a positive outcome I would appreciate it, I know how wonderful the power of PT prayer and positive thoughts work, Thanks.

Postive thoughts and prayers come from Canada for your Mom. I know what it's like...everytime my Mom calls me just to tell me she's got a cold, I worry like heck.

You know that PT prayers do work and this will be no exception. Just wait and see.

My Uncle has that .......... and is on medication now for it. I hope your Mum finds out what it is, and wish her a speedy recovery too!

my mom as well has it and she is on meds. Had it for about 4 years now. Let's hope your mom finds out it isn't Menieres

Great news, thanks for those vibes , they obviously worked, she does not have Menieres disease, some Vertigo thing, but she was told by him if she did there was nothing he could do for her, never mentioned medication, although her doctor told her there was a pill you could have , strange huh.

The sore in her mouth , believe it or not was salivary stones, never knew you could get such a thing, you can also get them in your ear canal, I told mum, jokingly " gosh you could have your own Quarry going there", she has kidney stones as well, so for some reason her body likes making them.

Funny thing my doc told me I have vertigo as well, I have only mild attacks, infrequent, so I hope they don't progress like my mother or become Menieres.

I'm so glad by the time I read this thread that it ended in good news! Sorry your mom has "quarry" problems and vertigo, but nothing much more serious. I know she's had her problems in the past but I'm sure excited that all the PT prayers worked!

Thanks for the well wishes, yep the specialist just cut the stones out, without a local, as he said the local hurts more and can make you feel pretty unwell, she said it did not hurt much, so hopefully she will be much better now, once the opening has healed.

You learn something new everyday, I never knew you could get stones in your salivary glands, or in your ear canal,I think she was just majorly relieved as am I that it was not more serious.

OUCH! A "quarry" in salivary glands sounds mighty uncomfortable. :eek: :eek: Glad things are better than they sounded when I first started reading this thread. ;) Sending good & healing thoughts across the miles. ;) :)
