almost a year lol puppys have a crazy are stage, they will start down, then slowly raise then one might flop over and one might stand up etc.. they wont fully stand for a long long time lol
What a cutie:D
I dont know about the ear thing but she is one cute pup!
What a cutie I think because of the small size of his ears, they might never stant up all the way, but thats cuter anyway!:)
Awww...what a cute pup! She may have some trouble with her ears standing up since she's part chow, but they should be more erect by the time she's a year!:)
oh look at that so sweet baby.....awwwwww !!!!!!!
I don't have experience with prick eared puppies, but my guess is that by the time your pup hits puberty, his/her ears will prick by then. *shrugs* Not sure, but because he is a Chow, his ears should be stiffly erect by adulthood.
It goes on to say that drop ears are a fault. Then, again, your puppy is a mix, so nobody can really say for sure. Adorable, though!:)Quote:
Ears small, moderately thick, triangular in shape with a slight rounding at the tip, carried stiffly erect but with a slight forward tilt.
just from personal experience. your dog should be able stand up his ear in 3-4 weeks. but sometimes they do need a lil bit help to get their ears stand up like there are some kind of special glue, tapes and stuff..
BTW, he's definitely a cutie
That is one cute & cuddly pup.:)
Awww...she is so cute!!
Alot of mixed breed dogs (even those whose parents both had standing ears) will not have standing ears. Infact, most times. I'm not sure why. German shepherd ears will usually flop for quite a while, until the pup is around 5 or 6 months.
