Poor Marigold & poor us
We had to give Marigold a pill last night, and she put up a battle! I had her wrapped in an old pillowcase (which is now shredded); she bit and clawed Mark; and I managed to escape with only 2 claw marks.
But the good news is, we got her pilled, and she forgave us after some tuna fish (her favorite). By this morning, she was on our bed looking for snuggles. :)

I hope it was just a one time dose? ;)

I just bought mine a pill popper. I am not good at pilling mine either.

oh MY!!! Sounds like here when I have to trim Lizzie's claws! I sure hope I do not have to go through what you did with Marigold if she ever needs a pill!!
Glad that you are now forgiven:D

OOPS..... sounds like my Inka.... :D
I hope that Marigold doesn't need any more pills.... ;) :D

That is so frustrating,to think that you hsve given your Cat,a pill,only to find,it,the next day,on the floor.Thts why,I try,to have the prescription,given,in a liquid form,if possible,so that the Found Cats,get some,of the medicine,in them.

Oh, poor Marigold and poor you! :( She really put up a fight, didn't she!! Sounds a lot like Fister in the old days. He has calmed down considerably since. :)
I hope sweet Marigold won't need another pill for a LONG time!! Give her lots of snuggles! :)

Poor everyone indeed!
Please tell me you won;t need to do a repeat performance tonght - you might run out of pillowcases if you have to continue pilling her!

I hate pilling my two kitties, although it really is more tramatizing for me than them....and yes, the key to winning their love back again is the "treat factor".
Hope you don't have to do it again.

Poor Marigold! Poor you indeed!
I'm glad all was quickly forgiven.
I'm beginning to wonder if Zam still goes into a mild heat despite being fixed. She has been making an awful racket late in the evenings and early mornings.
As soon as I let her out for her (supervised) outdoor time she rubs all over everything and rolls on the sidewalks.

It was a de-worm pill and we give them to her 2-3 times a year. I'm thinking of "investing" in a pill popper before we have to do that again!!
She's so beautiful sitting in the sun on the window sill -- one would NEVER guess that she has a feisty bone in her body!
