Please help!!

I sent over a document from a Mac computer to my normal PC but it is not in word, it is in some Mac version of word. When I try to open it on my computer it comes up with a bunch of numbers and crap. How to I convert it into a Word Document?

I'm probably not explaining it right, I'm way to frustrated.

I've never really used a Mac, I don't like them...you could perhaps try to save it as a .doc file so word can read iton your windows comp?? I'm not sure, sorry
