R.I.P. Our Dear Hazel

We had a tearful homecoming. Our vet called early this morning with news of Hazel being in distress. Her chest cavity was either filling up with fluids, or there was a growth the was pushing on the lung area. We chose to not put her through anymore testing and let her just go in peace. We just got back from saying our tearful goodbyes to a most loved cat. She purred for us and rested her head in my hands. She seemed so happy to see us. It's a very difficult day to say the least. She came into our lives quickly and left the same way, but not without deeply touching our hearts. We so loved her. Goodbye our precious girl.

Oh no, Lisa. I'm so sorry to hear this. First of all Porch and now Hazel. :( So sad that such a wonderful trip had to be marred by the death of two such sweeties.
