Police Investigate After Organs Discovered On Sidewalk

Associated Press NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- Police are investigating the discovery of what they believe are human organs found on the sidewalk not far from Yale-New Haven Hospital.

Someone called police Wednesday evening to report they had found a liver and a kidney on the sidewalk.

Police believe they are human organs but have not yet confirmed that. Nor do they know where the organs came from.

Hospital officials said they had not misplaced any organs, and no one showed up at the emergency room without theirs. Any organs intended for transplant would have been tightly sealed in a container.

Officials say the organs could have come from the Yale anatomy lab, which is around the corner from where the organs were found.

Terry: "Yes, you're right! By golly I better check to see if I still have mine!"

Ok rofl. That is too funny. Well, not really, if they intended to use them for transplant its a big loss, but its just funny to find missing internal organs. (I hope nobody was murdered or I'll regret laughing it up.)

So that's where my liver and kidney went. Silly me. If I had a brain I'd have it out playing with it too. :rolleyes: :D :p

THIS had me literally on the floor laughing!! That is so funny! PitChick, you are killing me! I literally started laughing and my slippers slipped (wonder why they are called "slippers"?) on the hardwood floors and I half fell out of the chair.!!! Funny! I'm STILL laughing.....
