Great news!!!

The vet just called and she said that the preliminary culture came back negative for a UTI and Shadow is negative for Diabetes!!! :) :D I'm so happy. We're going to try some medication though for her behavior issues and it's a called Amitrezyln (sp?) that will not alter her personality. It's to take some of the anxiety off--it's not permanent. I just want to try it for six months and see if that will work. I also discussed with the vet that if this does not improve the home situation that maybe I will put nawtee Whisper on something too.

I think our house is just too small for three cats and with Shadow's personality maybe she just needs more space for herself. I will be leaving for four days for spring break and when we got back next Wednesday I'm going to let her out during the day and see how her and Whisper interact. I'll have the squirt bottle ready! Wish me luck and her too.

I'm so glad to hear that Shadows test results were good.:) Now hopefully the new anxiety meds will be able to help her. Good luck and please keep us posted.:)

That is indeed,wonderful news about Shadow,not being diabetic,as that is a very difficult disease.to treat in A Cat.Mr Scvrappy died as a result,of the complications,of diabetes,as his kidneys went,on him.And it was very tough,to get Mr Scrappy,to take his medicine,as he just didnt like it.That iswonderful,that you dont have,to go through al that with Shadow.
