Sahara's trip to the vet

We just got back from our vet visit! :D :D We are mange-free!!!!!!!

WHOOPIE!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D :D :D

We are now officially off of the ivermectin, and solely using a flea-tick preventative collar to help prevent future outbreaks. Athough it is possible to have another occurance if there is any extremely stressful situation, we are pretty much in the clear!! :D

We did find out that she has Entropion of her right eyelid. It is rolled in and rubbing on her eyeball causing irritation and "crying". That is going to be surgically fixed when she gets spayed. We had the go-ahead for her spay surgery once her regular vet gets back in town. So my girl is well on her way to a full recovery and completely normal! :D I'm so excited for her.

I measured/weighed her....

She is 31.5" at the shoulders :eek: and weighs 105...and still growing!!!! :eek:

So glad to hear that sweet Sahara is doing better! She is a big girl, isn't she? I know she's a pretty girl! :D

I thought I would post a photo (attached) of my girl's eye. You can where her fur is wet from "crying" all the time. And everything you see is your inner-eyelid. No eye. It is always like this, and I think quite annoying/irriating to her. I can't wait to get this taken care of.

I am so glad to hear that she's recovering. She's so pretty! Love the picture of her in the car. She looks very serious about convincing your brother. :D
