favorite hound

pick your favorite hound

I guess if I had to pick from those three breeds I'd pick the bluetick. But catahoulas are used for hunting and are still called catahoula cur hounds or catahoula leopard hounds, so I'd have to pick the catahoula. :D

Between those, bluetick. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE hounds! The american curs and scent hounds.
Some of my favorite:
Blue Lacy (my fav. cur/hound)
Bluetick
Redbone Coonhound
Catahoula Leopard Dog
Carolina dogs (not hounds, but considered curs)
English Coonhound

From those choices I'd have to choose the Bluetick but my actual favourite hounds are:

-mini and standard Dachshunds
-Redbone Coonhound
-Pharoah Hound
-Ibizan Hound
-Rhodesian Ridgeback
-Catahoula

(those are not in order btw.)

You gotta love the Hound dogs, but my favorite are the Beagles! ;)

i LOVE hounds!I've always had a softspot for them:p out of those,i love Beagles,i grew up with one and she was so sweet!

We have a beagle/greyhound cross, so I have to vote beagle from these choices. My favorite hound, though, is the greyhound.

I think beagles are the best. We have three dogs which all have beagle in them. One is a true hound. He is beagle from the neck down and the head of a redbone coonhound. He puts his head back and howls.
