More dog pics.....(and CRAZY weather).....(13 pics)

I know pretty much everywhere has the saying "if you don't like the weather just wait 10 minutes...." but on Monday March 14th the dogs and I lived it.

We woke up to some snow, but by the afternoon it had warmed up a bit and although it was a little overcast the sun was coming out every now and then and melting the snow a bit so we decided to go for a walk. Here the dogs are posing in the same place they posed a few days ago.

Poor Shelby didn't want to sit in the snow...LOL

After the dogs had run around for a bit (about 20 minutes) I decided it was time to go home.
I turned around and was met by a white wall of snow rushing towards me from across the field. The snow was literally flying horizontally.

So we walked home in a mini blizzard. Here Emily struggles to see through the snow flying in her face.

Shelby puts her head down and keeps on trucking. I'm hoping she knows the way back to her house as I'm having a hard time seeing at the moment.

Clipse almost turns into a white sheltie. And my dark green sweatshirt (yep wasn't wearing a jacket since it was so nice outside) was pure white as well.

15 minutes after we got back to Shelby's house the sun came out and melted all the snow? Blizzard? What Blizzard? I went outside to take pics because not many who live here would believe it.

We continued to have mini blizzards and bright sunshine all day long..... but hey it's Calgary.....nothing new for us I supose....LOL

and i know what you mean about strange weather.
yesterday it was really warm,, so warm you didnt need a long sleeved shirt on. then a few hours later it began to rain. when i woke up... it was snowing.

it looks weird. like winter is just beginning since all the previous snow had melted off,, and now theres a dusting on everything. its still coming down out there. i hope it melts all back off.. our driveway had just got desent enough to drive on.

ill post some pictures that i got of my dog out there in snow a little later on.

Thanks. And my dogs are pigs. They'll do anything for a cookie....LOL

How's a girl suppose to decide what to wear with weather like that:D Unbelievable! At least the day ended on a sunny note! Your pups are precious, as always! What perfect models!:)

Ahhh, nothing quite like surprise snow storms. The dogs definately do not look pleased fighting the snow, especially the one of Emily, the look on her face is priceless! I really like the last few pictures; Shelties always look so distinguished!
