hello all,
i have an 8 year old yellow lab/retriever, over the past few weeks her nose has changed colors from the usual almost black, to a pretty pink, whats up?
her behavior is the same, nothing untoward. Her gum color has not changed either...canyahelp? :)
Does she dig?
That's what a lot of people call "snow nose" - a lot of dog's noses turn color in the winter. Most turn from a blackish to a grayish-pink color.
Happens every winter to my Golden Retrievers. Then they go back to that beautiful black in the summer. Kay is right, sounds like "snow nose" to me! :)
thank you all so very much, I was getting ready to make a trip to the vet! I explained to "Miss April May" what was going on c/ her nose and she seems happy to know all is well. Thank you again, ya'll have a great evening! :)
