How my cat got her name
Bailey was always going to be Bailey just because I loved the name. But.....
I had a very large ficus tree in the front room and as a kitten she was always climbing up the wicker planter and hiding in the artificial ferns I had in the bottom. After cleaning kitty truffles out of the ferns for several days, I decided it wasn't a good place for her to be "hiding" any more. I put up some guards around the bottom of the tree but she was so small she crawled right through them. So I ended up watching for her to go to the planter and when she would climb in I'd pick her up and put her in front of her litter box. Well she'd turn around and run back to the planter as fast as her little legs could carry her. After several attempts at coaxing her to use the litter box I picked her up looked into her eyes and said "Bailey-Jane you can't go in there!" and she's been Bailey-Jane ever since.

Sounds like a persistent little kitty. :D:D I like Bailey-Jane, it is more original than just Bailey.

Pouncer was Pouncer,as she used to jump,on her Toys! Scrappy,was Scrappy,as he,never took any guff,from Pouncer.Scarppy 2,is one tough Kitten,and tolerates no nonsense.Michael,aka Dylan,was named after the Comic Strip,from Japan.Princess,once Miss Maners,got her name,from her regal presence.JJJ3,got his name,from being,on the Radio 3 Times!And the Other Cats,came with thier names,and that is all right,with me.

Awww... sounds familiar! Harry is actually only supposed to be Harry, but when he's trying to eat my spider plant, or getting into some other trouble, he's always "Harold" - it seems to just have more weight! :D
