I got a betta!!=)

yay!!! I got a betta my first one in a long time!! I was at walmart and just kinda looking around I saw the bettas and got sad because of the way they are all on those selves in the little cups and how some of them are in the very back! so I was digging around and in the VERY back found this little guy I told him he was to beautiful to be in the back and that he was coming home with me so everyone meet

It is so sad seeing those poor bettas in the cups. I'm glad you rescued him!

Wow he's beautiful! He's even whiter than Haiku. PetCo here used to sell them in those little cups, but now they sell them in these lidded (while a hole in the top) containers about the size of a small tub of butter, I'd say about three times the size of the little cups they used to sell them in. PetsMart still sells them in the tiny cups and doesn't keep lids on them :(. Here is what Haiku came in:
