Since baseball season is in it 'baby steps' for this season, let me throw out the first pitch for 2005!!
I just heard that Sammy Sosa was at the airport waiting for a ride to announce his trade to Baltimore.
A trainer, in a pickup truck, went to the airport to meet Senor Sosa and he balked at riding in with the trainer, He wanted a limo to pick him up....

Can the 05 playoffs top last year?
When my dad was alive, I watched baseball religiously. Can still remember the Phillies winning the World Series (but, oops, forgot what year) but I do remember the whole city closing down for the parade! And getting paid anyway! Woo! Woo! On the few occassions I drink beer, it's a few big cold ones at a baseball game, with a "Phillies Frank" with the works! And nachos with gooey cheese which they added a few years ago! Yum! Yum! I eat my way through 9 innings!!
