Dusty and Horses Like Him

Whoever you are, I'm really glad you shared your story about Dusty because I think you raised awareness about abused horses and how, after being mistreated, they are many times just left to be slaughtered. This is a terrible, terrible thing. I can't imagine why anyone in good conscience would consider abusing a horse, or selling a horse for meat. That is just wrong. When I look at Dusty's picture, and see what a beautiful horse he is, and read about how much potential he has, I cannot help but feel a deep sadness for other horses, who are in the same situation as Dusty, but whose stories are not as happy, because their potential is taken away from them before they ever have a chance to displyay it. In my opinion, slaughtering horses should be illegal. :( Fortunately, there are wonderful individuals like you, as well as some wonderful organizations out there, who rescue horses in that situation. It's people like you who make the world a better place. :D
