Chewbacca and I just want to say thank you to everyone that has been to our site and donated, purchased something, left a kind note, or told others about his site. We still have a LONG way to go towards paying off his bills, but we have passed the $700 mark from all the nice people out there! Please help me spread the word.. :) Thanks again, everyone!

Chewbacca is a little chihuahua that has HUGE vet bills, but I can't give up on him as he is doing better, and the vets do feel that he can still live a good life. He has just had a string of bad luck in his little life! He has recently been diagnosed with diabetes, but he is difficult to regulate on the insulin so far. The vet says it could be due to the prednisone he was on for a couple years for a previous illness. (IMHA) He is now off that and doing well, but he does have his bad days now and then.. for the most part, he is doing better though. When he was first diagnosed with diabetes, he was pretty sick, but didn't show symptoms until he couldn't even keep water down. The vet ran some tests and since he needed to be hospitalized and treated for the diabetes, he was referred to a specialist vet. That's where the bills got so huge! After about 10 days in the hospital, he finally got to come home! Anyhow, I am really struggling to make ends meet due to his bills, and I remembered that "SaveKaryn" site a few years ago. I hated asking for help, but figured I had nothing to lose and if people helped her just pay off credit card debt from abusing them, then maybe I could get help for Chewbacca. So, a friend helped me set up a website for him to collect donations, but I decided to add a few fundraising "projects" to it as well so at least I could be trying to raise funds myself also.
