The playground is a great place to teach your dogs new tricks. I like to take mine to the nearest school and let them play on the playground equipment. My little puppy loves to run through the tunnels and up the ramps.:D She's gotten quite good at it.:D
I take Sasha to my step son's school playground and let her run from tree to tree taking a good sniff. She's too skittish to check out any of the aparatus, but she loves the soccer/football posts.
At first it took some coaxing, but then they realized how much fun it is.;)

I sometimes take Tango to the school playground but not often because the city is getting really strict with the laws agains dogs on school property:(
