Dogs and cats can't get along? Don't tell these two!

Our cat Marty (nickname for Martin Luther because we got him on Martin Luther King day and he is all black) thinks he's a dog. He goes in and out all day like the dogs and hangs out with the dogs all day. This is a common site in our house!

I never had to train Marty or the dogs to accept each other. We got Marty when he was 10 months old so he wouldn't have to go to the shelter. On the way home he rested on my shoulder as I drove the car home and when we walked in the house he never ran from Dixie. She was never threatening to him and just wanted to sniff him. Once that was over they always hung out together.

I realize I'm fortunate because we have had other cats in the past that wanted nothing to do with the dogs. However, they tolerated each other after initial introductions and monitoring were done. I guess you could say, Marty is a unique cat! But then Dixie and Dusty are pretty unique too in my eyes!! I am blessed! ;)

If that just isn't the cutest thing I've ever seen! Love it!!!!!
