dachshund back surgery

My 4 year old dachshund had back surgery on Friday, Jan 14th. Her rear legs went completely down Thursday night so we were able to get the surgery done within the first 24 hours. The doctors say it will be anywhere from 5 days to 2 months before she might start to use her rear legs again. I have been doing internet research on what I can be doing for her in regards to therapy. Two questions. With warm water therapy, how long do I have her in the water? Any other dachshund owners with back problems with any advice. Thank you in advance.
