question

i just have a question about potty training. i know(at least i heard) that when the pup whines, take him outside. well what if we were JUST out? should i take him out again. lots of times he just wants to play, and i dont want to convey the message that whine=play outside

Did you see if she actually went while she was outside?

he'll pee or the other, and then when we go back in he whines. maybe he just doesn;t like being baby-gated in the kitchen:confused:

Yah, he probaly wants to be with you, not gated in the kitchen. :p

and i would love to have him here in the living room but we have new carpet and it cant get ruined, bu ti spend a lot of time with him during the day!

Training!!!! You can't lock a puppy up in the kitchen everyday :) :p
