Update on Gomer's diet

As some of you know I've put Gomer on a diet. My dogs used to free feed now I feed them 2 times a day. Gomer is doing really well. It's Mercedes I'm wondering about. Whenever I put her food down to eat she won't eat. She lays beside it gets up walks away. goes back to the food smells it runs to me. I tell her to go eat so she goes back looks at the bowl. It's as if shes all nervous about it. What is she trying to tell me??? Eventually after like 10 min she may take a bite. The other night she threw it all up again. I think it was because at dinner she eventually forced herself to eat it. Does anyone have any advice????:confused:

If its something you just switched to doing right away you may want to leave to food out for a longer peroid of time for a bit, say like an hour or so, eventually limit it until the bowl is only down for like 20 minutes etc..

Or maybe she prefers a different time of day. try feeding her one hour later or so.

She should eventually get used to it.
