rabies tags

I was wondering if it is possible to get a extra rabies tag for my dog. I share joint custody with my parents and we both need a tag for him? :)

Doesn't the tag just travel with him on his collar?
Maybe phone your vet and ask for an extra tag?

I don't know much about rabies tags as my dogs don't get rabies shots.

I usually put the tag on their collar. You could also get printed proof from your vet.

I definitely know that you can't get an extra set of tags cause they only print one. You can also ask the vet for the paper proof of the shot like dukedogsmom said.

take him to a different vet to get another rabies tag ;)
