sick of cookies....

yeesh this weekend I have had the "privaliage" of making 6 dozen christmas cookies. thats 2 dozen candy cane cookies( 2 colours twisted to shapes candy canes) 2 dozen ginger bread kids, and 2 dozen suger cookies. yesterday I made the dough for the ginger bread but could not bake then because the turkey(for early x-mas with my dad) was in the oven. so this morning I have baked 2 dozen ginger bread cookies, AND I have just finnished the dough for the 2 dozen suger cookies, this evening I am doing my x-mas shopping, and tomorow me and my friend are going to her band concert, and then we are exchanging x-mas gifts. then tuesday and wed. I gotta get ready to leave between 10-12 at night to head to prince george with the cookies lol I am sick of cookies right now :o

I ain't no Martha Freaking Stewart. The only thing I DO from scratch is my butt!! :)

My mom and I got together on Thursday for our annual Holiday Baking. We made fudge, peanut clusters, sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookie bars, white chocolate chip cookie bars, and bread. I also made some peanut butter cookies the next day. We normally do everything from scratch and make cookies instead of bars. We changed a few things since we have the baby this year but it was still fun!!

I am soooo joining this cookie haters group. I made oatmeal raison, sugar cookie, and peanut butter cookies from scratch for Thanksgiving.... I still have blisters on the palms of my hands (hand mixing) :rolleyes: I think they might be turning into scars!

My husband and I made cookies together this afternoon. Chocolate chip and peanut butter. Tomorrow I will probably finish off our planned cookies with almond cherry cake cookies and snickerdoodles.

lol oh I LOVE to bake lol I have been baking by myself since I was 8 years old lol I am just not used to making so many cookies at once! because we normally only have me, my mom, and my brother. BUT we are gong to my cousins this year, and my aunt, uncle and cousins do NOT cook or bake lol

I like making the cookies...but I am so full from eating them!! I really can't wait to get back onto my diet come January, that way most of these yummy temptations will be out of sight!...I have just had my fill of sweets and treats!! :) It was fun to splurge, but it will be nice to get back on track again!

I went to town to get my sisters christmas present and when I got home the smell of hot, fresh cookies was in the air! lol, she made a little over 3 dozen, mmm.., I think I need another... *runs to cookie jar..* lol ;), I love baking, and have been baking since I was about 7 year old, but my sister is the "cookie baker:p"

I got started on my baking today... Baked over 2 dozen mini loaves of Pumpkin bread.. I don't care for pumpkin but I love this bread.. Got Chocolate covered cherry cookies to make (2 batches)(mmmmmmm), 2 sweet potato pies to make and a carrot cake to make... ALL from scratch and that isn't a drop in the bucket compared to what I baked on the boat for Thanksgiving...plus I made caramel, divinity, pay days and pralines. I am a "scratch" cook, love making candies , cakes and cookies from scratch.

lol yup, I make everything from scratch too lol I have been baking since I was little, but I have been baking by myself since I was 8 lol from what I am told my mom and dad would go to work in the summer, and when they came back I would have a fresh baked batch of chocolate chip cookies on the counter lol when I was younger I really wanted to be a baker, because I love it, and I do all the baking because everyone loves the stuff I make so much lol I want to give some of my cookies to Tonya one day, some for her and some to send to her dad, because he is a baker. lol I have got nothing but "mmmm, these are GOOD" lol and I have even made up my own recipes myself, and those even tast good :p lol coarse while I can sure bake, I cant cook worth a darn :rolleyes: lol that is where my mom and I balance out I do the baking she does the cooking because my mom is an awsome cook! ;) but after baking so many, I cant even bare to LOOK at the cookies left over for us lol and I have to make my dad cookies by wed. and they have to be ver low suger because he is a diabetic, I dont wanna make more!

wow 6 dozen is alot of cookies. I could imagine you were tired of seeing them, but it sounds yummy to me! haha!

Oh dear that is a lot of cookies lol. I have not started baking yet :o, tomorrow i will try and start.

Thank you!!!! We think she is the prettiest but we might be a little biased! :D Her first name is pronounced like the brand Michelinn tires- just take off the "linn". It is my best friends name. DH picked out her middle name because he liked the way it sounds! She helped me bake cookies this year- mostly it was laying on the floor and telling me how to do it better!
