Mickey's Gotcha Day!

I know I haven't posted in awhile but I couldn't have Mickey's Gotcha Day go unannounced here.. :)

Today marks the two years since Mickey came into our home. I still remember that day so well.. he had grown so much from the last time we had gone to see the pups at the breeder. He was such a playful, handsome puppy. We took him out of his pen and let him roam around while my parents signed the papers. The breeders' pomeranian started barking at Mickey and out of fear, he peed right there on the floor. LOL

The ride home seemed to go on forever and finally when we got here, we set him down and let him roam. My mom was sitting on the floor with her leg out and little Mickey tried to jump over it but with his tiny legs, he got stuck up there and was just hanging off her leg. Soon he realized he wasn't with his mom and littermates anymore and just parked himself in front of the mirror and cried and cried. He'd go to the mirror trying to play with "that other puppy". But soon Mickey learned and grew with us and hopefully, he is happy with us. He gets spoiled rotten with attention and he knows he's friggin adorable ;).

Thank you Mickey for being there to teach me SOOO much and thank you for being my best friend. I love you.

I've always wanted to take a picture like that first one (I've tried it in the mirror before after a hot shower but kept getting myself in the picture :o )
