Some Sad News...
Yesterday night I was at my schools Christmas dance which was pretty fun. Anways when my Mom came to the school to pick me up we talked for a few minutes and then she told me that my Grandpa had phoned saying my Great-Grandma passed away Wednesday night. She was 95 years old. :( I'm so sad she's gone... but we've known for a while now that her health has been fading...
She lived in Alberta so I wasn't able to see her very often. I didn't know her all that well but I was able to talk to her on a phone a bit when I was younger and she always told me she loved me etc. She was a wonderful woman and I wish I could have known her better. I know she's happy now, with my Great-Grandpa and her beloved dog Dobie (a Doberman) and is out of pain. We were able to go see her very breifly in July but I unfortunately was only able to spend about 5 minutes with her... our visit was cut short due to some family issues.
... :( I'm really going to miss her and my poor Mom is just heart broken she was VERY close to her (it was her Grandma).

I'm sorry about the loss of your great grandmother. I lost my grandma last year and it still hurts, especially around Christmas time. Your great grandmother lived a long, and I'm sure, full life. You should take comfort knowing that.
