Biting!
My boyfriend and I recently adopted a beautiful and very sweet Dachshund, pitbull mix named "Scoobie". He is just about 2 years old and a pretty good dog. There is only one problem, he bites everything in sight! The Wood floors, my shoes, furniture, my hands, my feet. I have tried telling him no, spraying bitter apple with no luck.
Any suggestions?

Scoobie is a cute pup.:) Some dogs like to chew more than
others. Does he have plenty of his own favorite chew items
around ? I'd re-direct him to them( & make them seem very
very interesting ) every time you see him going for something
he shouldn't have. Then praise him like crazy.

have you tried tabasco instead of bitter apple?

When you said Dachshund/pittie mix, I thought whatin the world, would that look like??? And he looks exactly like a pittie-doxie mix!! How cute!!
I agree with Liz. Try to re-direct his behavior...give him lots of fun toys to chew on and praise him like crazy when he does!!
Also, when he bites at your hands, give a sharp, high-pitched squal (like a puppy would) and walk away from him....leave the room entirely. Let him know if he is going to play like that, you will have nothing to do with him. If he is bonded with you and enjoys your attention, he should learn that biting means no play, and he won't like that :)
