Let's make limerick's about our dogs...

For those of you who don't know what a limerick is, it has five lines, the first, second and fifth line rhyme ( last word), and the third and the fourth line rhyme ( last word)...so give it a try...here are a couple i thought of... :) Silly... :)

First one:


Dale, the Swissie, is big,

When he “talks”, he sounds like a pig,

Snort, snort, you will hear,

In your left or right ear,

“Mom, can I go out to dig?"



Second one:


When the big galloot comes running,

You duck, you hide, as he's coming,

What will he do,

Will he bump me or you?,

The impact is rather quite stunning.

Neat idea, Robyn. I'll give it a try, but I'm really bad at this stuff...lol

Katie is my pretty Akita girl,
She has a fluffy tail with a curl,
She runs down the hall,
To bring you a ball,
And waits for you to give it a hurl.

How's that?....LOL

LOL! I got such a kick out of your first limerick.

Tori's turn...

Tori is our little red head,
She hates water loves mud instead,
Bath time is frightening,
She runs like lightening,
And tries to hide out in her bed.

What a great idea and everyone did such a good job....I don't know if I can come up with something tonight....have you ever noticed how tough it is to get ideas when you have to?

Hehehe...now this one is bad ;p When I was talking to Anna this one popped in my head. Tori loves playing and hasseling Bon. She hasn't seen him for a couple of weeks and I'm sure she is in for quite a surprise when they get together again. :eek: I hope you don't mind me using your boy Anna :p

Baby Bon is such a joy,
He is my Tori's favorite boy,
They run and they play,
Most of the day
Tori thinks Bon is a toy.
