Hi everyone,
I am looking foward to the holidays but i always feel bad when i have a cookie or something and my dog just sits there with her eyes looking at me, ya know that look where she acts like she is the most mistreated dog?!, well i was wondering if anyone knew a dog safe food that i could make for her, preferrably not human food, she is watching her weight! lol!

Hi I make dog cookies all the time. Heres a holiday recipe for you.
Santa paw cookies
21/2 cps whole wheat flour
1/3 cup pecans
1 cp oatmeal
1/2 cp dried fruit (apricots bananas, apples or pears- your choice)
3/4 cp milk
4 TBs Margarine
1 egg
Preheat oven to 350. Combine dry ingrediants and gradually stir in milk, marg. and egg. Knead dough to 1/4' thick. Cut with cookie cutter and place on ungreased cookie sheet and bake for 35 min.
Makes 1 1/2 doz. - Hope your puppers enjoy. I also have a recipe for those older ones that are tooth challenged. LOL. :D
